From Paree, which made her a household name, to Waqt, her latest album, Suneeta Rao’s journey over the last twenty years has endeared her to audiences as the ‘Paree of the Masses’ – one of India ‘s most loved performing artistes.
Her current live act has Suneeta Rao performing with a Live band. It can best be described as Pop Fusion and will include songs from her fifth solo album Waqt, plus new versions of Suneeta Rao’s classic hits such as Paree Hoon Main and Ab Ke Baras, as well her own versions of popular cover tunes. This Raga–based repertoire will be performed by Suneeta, with a line up from Mumbai including Gino Banks (drums), Sangeet Haldipur (piano, keys and backing vocals), Ravi Iyer (guitar), Rushad Mistry (bass) and Shadaab Bhartiya (tablas, percussion).
