Hit machine Pitbull along with Latino superstar Shakira come together for the 1st time for the song Get it Started. The song has already created waves across the world as it leaked over the weekend.
The song is Pitbull’s 1st single from his forthcoming album – Global Warming and the collaboration promises to be another smash hit. Above all; the song gives a reference to Pitbull’s Mumbai concert, a concert the singer finds difficult to forget.
Global Warming is to be the rapper’s seventh studio album and is related to environmental issues. It saw an international release on June 21, 2012.
The star, reportedly said, “Obviously it’s something that is affecting us every day in our lives,but more than anything, I feel that [my] career has been global warming because a lot of people are like, ‘Wow, look at him now. He’s heating things up. That guy’s everywhere.’
Pitbull has also penned Back in Time, the theme song for the Men in Black III soundtrack, and is featured on Jennifer Lopez’s new single Dance Again.
