Reliance Broadcast Network Limited’s intellectual property vertical Big Live and its radio arm 92.7 Big FM, announced that the Big Marathi Music Awards 2012 is all set to kick off its 2nd edition.
This year, Big Marathi Music Awards has included new categories such as the Best Violinist and Best music Arranger, among a total of 17 categories.
The jury panel for these awards include veteran musicians Padmaja Fenani, playback singer Sudesh Bhonsle and the Marathi poet, lyricist, script writ
er, actor and playwright Guru Thakur.
Speaking on the occasion, BMMA jury member Sudesh Bhonsle said, “I am in awe and humbled by the responsibility that BMMA has bestowed upon me. I have always wanted to do my part for my Industry and encourage new talent and I cannot think of a better platform in India today, to do so. It is indeed a privilege to be a part of these prestigious awards.”
