It took five years to get David Guetta in India – Vijay Nair

The Eristoff Invasion Festival is less than a month away and with David Guetta coming down for a three city tour, one couldn’t ask for more.

With the production level being kept the same as Prodigy last year, this time around, this is going to be a stadium level show in Pune, Bengaluru and New Delhi.

Says Vijay Nair, CEO, Only Much Louder, “We had been trying to get David Guetta since the past four to five years. What worked out was the catalogue of our work and the benchmark we set with our events. We knew how to make it work and even his manager has known our profile.”

The Eristoff Invasion Festival has seen city audiences till now with approximately 15-20,000 people coming from Mumbai alone. The Delhi show last year had been the best with a turnout of more expats from there.

The festival was originally scheduled to take place in Mumbai but that did not take off as there was a problem with regard to selling liquor at the venue which isn’t allowed in Mumbai and hence the organizes had to narrow down their options.

The David Guetta set is going to be a full festival set with him travelling along with his whole troupe. Says Nair, “We expect all the three shows to be a sellout and we have hence priced it in a manner that the tickets don’t turn out to be too expensive also. It’s going to be different and not like a club DJ set.”

The Eristoff Invasion Festival will take place on March 09 – Delhi NCR, March 10 – Pune, March 11 – Bangalore. Tickets are available on: http://eristoffinvasion.in/tickets
