On June 16th, The Console explores the new setups and collaborations between established independent musicians from across India.
This edition features talented Delhi-based singer/songwriter, Pragnya Wakhlu, brand new ambient electro act, Snowshoe, and the experimental collaborators, Vice-Versa. We will also be screening the critically acclaimed documentary, Paul Simon: Under African Skies.

6:45 PM Paul Simon: Under African Skies (Documentary)
Paul Simon returns to South Africa to explore the journey of his Graceland album, including the political backlash he received for allegedly breaking the UN cultural boycott of South Africa designed to end the Apartheid regime.

8:45 PM Pragnya Wakhlu
Pragnya Wakhlu is a an award winning singer ,songwriter and guitarist. Her solo act is unique as she makes use of live looping & uses her guitar as a percussive instrument. Beginning her journey in Seattle, USA & playing with several Indian bands, she has now embarked on her solo journey and has recorded her solo album Journey to the Sun independently with various artists released in May 2012.

9:30 PM Snowshoe
SnowShoe is a studio project of Sky Rabbit’s lead guitarist, Rahul Nadkarni. Built from scratches put down over the years, the moody, sixty minute set has moved to the stage with a mash up of samplers, loopers and live instruments. The two-piece live outfit also features fellow Sky Rabbit member, Harsh Karangale on drums

10:30 PM Vice-Versa
This talented duo, comprising of Rohit aka P-Man, who is from Mumbai, India, and Manas from Bangalore, India, released their debut album in 2012. Vice-Versa’s music is underlined with influences from Dubstep, DnB, Rock n’ Roll to Hip Hop and Breakbeat.
